I first began having sessions with Mary Tompkins a few years ago when I was getting migraine headaches, approximately three to four per month. A friend had referred me to her after trying the typical medical treatments. I had a cat scan which came back negative and tried migraine pain relievers which did nothing except make me feel nauseated and as if I were living in a bubble. These migraines affected my work, my personal life, and my schooling. I was in nursing school at the time and working three jobs. I decided to give Mary a try since I couldn't have migraines controlling my life.
My first session was one of the most wonderful experiences I had ever had. Not only did she touch on my migraines, but she "picked up" on my emotional heaviness as well as other physical aches and pains which I had never paid any attention to in the past. It was the first time I had ever released emotional scars and frankly, it was quite easy to do with a person as nurturing and caring as Mary. I was hooked.
After my first session, my migraines did not disappear completely, but the symptoms had definitely changed. I used to get numbness in my fingers, then I would see spots, then the pounding headache would come. I literally could not function. After only one session with Mary, I saw spots for a minute, but never any other symptoms. I went to a second session a week later and have not had a migraine since! No symptoms, no headaches, nothing. In fact, since I began sessions with Mary, I know when to release emotional baggage and I understand now how the mind affects the body. Mary is truly a gifted human being who is one of the most caring, understanding people I have ever met. I thank God that Mary came into my life and still continue to have sessions with her as often as possible.
