What to expect in a Reiki Session
Science says that we are all made of energy, even an object that seems solid virtually is moving energy. Eastern philosophy teaches that our bodies have seven energy centers known as chakras. These energy centers are the connection when open and vibrating or moving that allows us to remember spirit, the source of which we are made. This great Universal Energy that is accessible to all is the highest purest vibration of Love. It is the ever present essence of God in each of us. Through the painful forgetting of this we have all been affected by our emotions. This causes the energy centers to slow down in vibration, leaving the body in distress and not at ease. As a result disease can enter the body.
During a session we will start with an Angel Card reading if you so choose. This is a one card reading where you ask for the angel you need most for insight to what is going on in your heart. Each beautiful Angel has a deeper understanding and perspective that will correspond with what it is you need to see.
After the reading I will show you where the chakras are located. Next the table session will begin. While listening to relaxing music, I will start by opening the chakras. I will then go to your feet to start circulating the energy. Next, you will turn onto your stomach so that I can get the energy in your spine moving. By then I will have received information as to where you are feeling physical pain. In return I will focus the energy on those areas. At the end of the session I will do an emotional release (if you so choose) by placing one hand on your heart and holding your hand. During this time I will again receive information from your soul as to what you are feeling. If I sense you are ready I will share this information with you. Most times I receive visions of events and or names of people with significant meaning to you. This process aids in the release at a soul level with the emotions that have caused you pain and disconnection. The session will end with bringing in the energy of unconditional love and light. As far as what to expect after a session is totally dependent on the individual and I will share that at the time.
